The Christian Communion International is a communion of churches with presence in more than 40 countries of the world. We have around 200,000 members, with many thousands more regularly involved in local congregations and in close association with our work. More than 2,000 ministers are serving in local congregations and chaplaincies, supported by a dynamic administrative staff.

The Communion has an Episcopal government in the Apostolic tradition and succession as Jesus Christ had in mind when He established the Church.  This biblical government emphasizes the Apostolic ministry through the whole Church and the succession of the Apostles through Bishops, Presbyters and Deacons.

The College of Bishops, who govern collegially, provide the general oversight of the Communion. In each level of the Communion structure, leadership is duly elected and appointed to serve the dioceses, parish churches and other areas of service and ministry.

Our Constitution outlines our general structure and includes our foundational beliefs, values and practices.

The Canons govern the way mission is accomplished within the Communion, and the manner in which Communion organs are regulated.

Ministry is accomplished through lay and ordained ministries. Individual initiative and response to God’s call to specific service, within the context of unity, is highly encouraged.
