Purpose

The Apostolate for the Nations is an Archbishop-led jurisdictional mission organ of the Communion and the international College of Bishops that is tasked with the establishment of new dioceses and provinces in unevangelized or ecclesiastically unorganized regions of the world.

Authority

The Apostolate for the Nations operates under authority of the College of Bishops. The bishop appointed to lead the Apostolate shall be a bishop duly elected and appointed by said college and shall hold the title of Archbishop.

Vision

The vision of the Apostolate is the fulfillment of the Great Commission, that is, the discipling of nations (Greek: ethne) in accordance with the commandments of the Lord Jesus. The fulfillment of the Great Commission necessarily requires the building of the Church.

Leadership

The Apostolate for the Nations is presently led by Archbishop William Mikler, who labors in concert with trusted colleagues in the Gospel from around the world.
